Exploring School Grounds - UPDATED

This week, morning nursery went for a weather walk on Thursday.

We talked about what we could see and hear along the way: grass, two big trees, a police car's siren, some birds, lots of twigs and an aeroplane. A very knowledgeable friend of ours told us its name and how many engines it had!

We listened so carefully and walked in pairs talking to each other. Next time, we are going to take the camera and device with us to record our findings as well as clipboards and pencils as we love mark making so much!

Afternoon nursery went to help scatter some poppy seeds in main school on Friday afternoon. We hope that they will grow. We will go and check on them often.

Hope you have seen our Nature Wall in class...

Brilliant bugs are on their way!

Our brilliant bugs are here!

Here are our morning friends' bugs;

And here are our afternoon friends' bugs;

We hope you enjoy them!
