It was fun helping Beebot find the shapes.
We took turns and helped each other.
We are developing the ability to follow instructions and operate programmable toys.
We are using the buttons to direct Beebot, to make it 'go' and to 'clear' the instructions.
We are using language to describe Beebot's movements.
It is helping us to label and describe some shapes.
We used our counting and problem solving skills to help Beebot travel to the right place. How many steps does he need to travel? Where does he need to go? Forwards, backwards, left or right?
We will be continuing to help Beebot. He is helping us to consolidate understanding and learn new things!
Well done!
When we use ICT in nursery, adults talk to us about staying safe when online.

Beebot has also been helping us develop our letter and sound knowledge through "I spy... " and Picnic game. We have been exploring the shapes of different foods too!
