Springtime fun with numbers and counting!

Using dough to create and count when making an Easter egg or chick.

Counting and collecting items when creating

All sorts of opportunities for us to apply our knowledge, understanding and skills for a purpose

Selecting objects by colour and counting out sets of different sizes

Counting out sets of objects with increasing accuracy and support. Fantastic effort!

Matching numerals and quantities. The blocks have either the numeral of arrays on them. Can you pair them up? Yes you can. Well done!

Decorating eggs - cutting, sticking and counting out, e.g. Five flowers, three eggs. Using mark mark making for a purpose, e.g. Writing a message inside card.

Hope you like them!

Challenge time!

Using dice, creating our own games, recording outcomes using mark making, developing understanding of language: add, together, more, less, altogether, take away...

Adding key items from a list to the garden

How many...? How many altogether? How many would there be if you took... away?

Super problem solving

Counting up to and own from five, ten and beyond...!

Marvellous numeral writing friends!

Superb spaceships, robots, rockets, castles....!
