Fun at the farm

Got here safely and the fun started straight away.

This is Dora. She is going to have a baby soon...

We were able to stroke and feed the baby animals.

The animals were all very friendly.

She felt so soft.

We learnt that a boy goat is a Billy Goat and a girl goat is a Nanny Goat.

Ahh, this one is the baby one.

Most of us hadn't seen an animal like this before.

This baby is only three days old. She drinks milk.

We listened carefully to the grown up who told us lots of interesting facts about the animals.

A bit noisy here!

There were a few eggs in the nest too.

The ducks were very funny. They kept following each other. They were very quick and rather noisy.

This is the baby pony called Buttercup.

The donkeys were very tame. We were told that all of the animals were tired after such a rainy night.

The pigs were lively and a bit hungry today.

Wow! She is very big. Her name is Kylie. The grown up gave her some mints for a treat and she crunched them very, very loudly.

Lots to learn about. Well done everyone. Super looking and listening!

Time to see, stroke and hold the small animals. Very exciting!

 So gentle!

This was such a tiny rabbit. He had eight other brothers and sisters.

This little chick was quite heavy actually.

This baby feeds from a bottle.

Feeding time for the animals!

And now us...

Time for a surprise treat...

Indoor bouncy castle, slide and obstacle course fun...

We are very high up here.

Whoosh! So fast!

I spy... Who could it be?

Well done you! So brave!

Tractor time!

Anyone for ice cream?

Lovely to see you. Thanks for dropping by.

Time to go back to nursery.

Thank you to the farm!

Goodbye grown ups and animals:-)

HUGE THANKS TO ALL THE GROWN UPS FOR COMING ALONG TO HELP.

MUCH APPRECIATED!

Hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!:-)

  1. I had a very good morning at the farm with the children. The children loved the big and small animals. The rain stayed away most of the time. A big thank you to all of you. Miss Barbara Jewsbury. xx
