Our trip to Pets at Home

Here we are!

We enjoyed our walk and spied lots of things on our way.

Listening and learning about how to care for a pet

Stroking a rabbit

We saw a Degu and some Chinchillas.

Very gentle

Lovely listening, everyone!

We really liked this guinea pig.

This rabbit was hopping around a lot!

The hamsters were very active and busy.

They made us laugh.

Three little hamsters

The rabbits were very excited to see us all!

Wow!

Taking in the amazing sights

Choosing a fish for a class pet

Showing each other our favourite fish

So many fish...!

Welcoming... BARRY!

Here we are! Arrived after a super duper walk to the shop. Lots of talking and learning on the way!

Well done friends!

This one is very big.

Being gentle

Do you remember how old this guinea pig is...?

How many guinea pigs did we see?

Looking at the rabbits and telling each other which one we liked the best

What can you see in there?

Here we are looking at the reptiles. We saw a chameleon, a bearded dragon and two different types of snake. Can you remember their names?

Some of us wanted to stroke the Bearded Dragon.

We weren't allowed to touch this snake. It was nearly his dinner time!

Fully grown, this snake will be very long and even thicker.

This snake was much thinner and shorter.

Onto the aquarium...

So much to see!

Which one shall we choose?

Catching our fish carefully and putting him into his bag

Back to Nursery to meet his friend Barry!

Afternoon friends are still deciding on what to call the orange fish.

We bought food for the fish and some decorations for their tank.

We will be taking turns to feed the fish and learning more about how to look after them.

WELL DONE EVERYONE!

SUCH SUPER SAFE WALKING AND EXCELLENT LISTENING!

LOTS OF TALKING AND LEARNING!

A FUN-FILLED TIME HAD BY ALL!

HUGE THANKS TO PETS AT HOME, HELPERS, STAFF AND CHILDREN FOR BEING SO FANTASTIC!
